Every piece begins long before the clay is ever touched. It starts with a thought, a feeling, a person in mind, and the quiet intention to create something worthy of them. From the moment you reach out, your loved one becomes the heart of everything that follows.

Once we've talked through your vision and all the details feel just right, the making begins. Each piece is shaped entirely by hand, slowly and with care, so that no two are ever quite the same.

Once final firing is complete, your piece is carefully wrapped and packed with the same love that went into making it, before being sent on its way to you or to the person it was always meant for.

Due to the handmade nature of each piece and current demand, wait times are approximately 5 months from the time of ordering. This is not a process that can be rushed and we appreciate your patience and understanding as we bring your piece to life.

  • Each piece is slowly and thoughtfully handmade from start to finish in my studio. Because every item is individually crafted by hand, no two pieces will ever be exactly the same — that is the beauty of handmade ceramics.

  • Every piece begins as raw clay, carefully hand built and shaped without the use of moulds or mass production. This allows each creation to feel organic, unique and deeply personal.

  • Once formed, pieces are left to slowly dry over time. This stage is incredibly important, as rushing the process can cause cracking or warping. Depending on the size and detail of the piece, drying can take days or even weeks.

  • After drying, each piece is refined by hand — edges are softened, surfaces smoothed and final details perfected before firing.

  • Pieces are then placed into the kiln for their first firing, transforming the clay into ceramic through extremely high temperatures.

  • Once fired, each piece is individually glazed by hand. Glaze application is a delicate process and results can vary beautifully from piece to piece, adding to the uniqueness of every creation.

  • After glazing, pieces return to the kiln for a second firing. This final stage brings the glaze to life and completes the piece.

  • Once your piece has completed its journey through the kiln, it is carefully wrapped and packed with the same love and intention that went into making it. It is then sent directly to your door via Australia Post for a flat shipping rate of $18, wherever you are in Australia.
