Hi, Iām Georgia
The heart and hands behind Love Peggy.
A mother of three, a wife, and a NICU nurse who has spent more than ten years caring for babies and their families. Outside of work, I love spending time with family and friends, travelling, and enjoying a cocktail every now and then. Creativity was never something I considered part of who I was until pottery found its way into my life.
The inspiration behind everything I create is my daughter, Peggy.
Peggy is an identical twin, a little girl with bright blue eyes and the most active baby in my tummy. Her dad and I always felt that Peggy was the perfect name for such a vibrant, spirited little girl. Her name means pearl: something precious, rare, and treasured.
My pregnancy was progressing beautifully until 25 weeks and 5 days, when Peggy and her twin sister were diagnosed with TAPS and TTTS. The following day, at 25 weeks and 6 days, Peggy passed away in my womb. I carried her alongside her sister until they were born together at 33 weeks and 6 days.
Carrying Peggy while her heart was no longer beating was the greatest honour of my life. It taught me that things are not always as they seem and that kindness matters more than we know. Peggy changed the way I see the world, teaching me what truly matters: love, family, and connection. She is deeply loved, endlessly missed, and remains a constant presence in our family.
After the girls were born, I enrolled in a pottery course. Every piece I made was for Peggy. Through clay, I found a way to honour her, keep her close, and begin healing. What started as a personal journey soon grew into Love Peggy.
Love Peggy was born from love, loss, and the desire to celebrate the beauty and meaning behind a child's name. Through handcrafted keepsakes and gentle rituals, I hope to help families honour precious memories and create meaningful connections.
Every piece I create carries a little of Peggy's story, her love, and her legacy. She continues to inspire me every day, and through Love Peggy, her light shines on.
